I’ll admit - bagpipes are hot, although I have managed to restrain myself despite years of working in close proximity to the Pipes and Drums bands from various units and regiments.
I had a piper play at my wedding.
The Spanish piper whose name I couldn’t recall for my previous post is Carlos Hevia, by the way and in case anybody wants to check out his stuff. And I’ve seen him perform on the electronic pipes as well, now.
Something to remember years hence, when he’s into hip-raphop or electronica-dancetrance (or whatever music will be popular then), and rolls his eyes at the thought of his parents’ music, especially Dad’s bagpipes. You can remind him that there was a time when he wanted to hear it so badly, he woke his Dad out of a sound sleep and demanded to hear it.
