New shingles vaccine, bad reaction to second dose.

My pharmacy finally just got a batch in, so I had my 2nd dose (been waiting since early June).

I scheduled/reserved my second dose a month or two ago and had the injection 2 days ago. I only had the arm muscle pain with both. The second one hasn’t bothered me nearly as much as the first. I’m thinking I may have (stupidly) gotten the first one in my dominant arm. Anyway, all done now.

Does anyone know how much the Shingrix vaccines cost w/o insurance? When I got the zostavax in 2013 I was below the recommended age so I paid about $200 out-of-pocket at Walgreens.

I was supposed to have my second shot on Wed, but my doctors office ran out. They’re giving me a script to take to a pharmacy that still has stock. I hope this one doesn’t wipe me out as bad.

It might even be more than $200, closer to $300. IDK for sure, though, since I had already met my deductible when I got it and paid nothing.

Oh, but don’t you know that you can combat shingles with all kinds of ozone injections, lotsa vitamins, massage, dietary changes, and other stuff?

Besides, that Shingrix vax is just loaded with MSG and dead baby stem cell tissue. Or something.

Whatever. As my pro-vax cousin likes to say, “Bring on the fetii.”

I think my insurance paid for it all, and no side effects.
