In Texas it’s against the law to not own a gun.

And Adam yeah, it depends on the state. Texas is probably the one place that you COULD own a gun.
adam yax, it should just involve filling out a form 4473 and getting a NICS check from the department of public safety which can often be done by the dealer in one phone call. Check with a dealer to make sure. You don’t even have to be a citizen to own a registered machine gun in the US. A friend is an ex-pat Canadian who left because of the restrictive gun laws and has at least four MGs in his collection.
Phlosphr, PR&G is a nice club, membership is $90 or so a year and you get the gate combo to use the facility during the week when it isn’t open to the public. I may be down there this friday evening when the IDPA group does a night match on the first friday of the month.
