Alternate timeline Rory Williams…!?
So, is the show gonna get a second season.
Oh well, at least it lasted twice as long as New Amsterdam.
Poop. This is why I almost never watch the first season of a new show. I really should learn.

Well, even if it’s only one season it was still an enjoyable ride, and there’s still more left to see.
Also, will be much easier for me to purchase the series if there’s only one season.
Aw… how sweet: Henry and Abe are cousins!
I wish this program had better ratings, I am enjoying it.
Am I the only one baffled as to why they never addressed in this episode where the killer might have gotten a load of Polonium? What, has amazon begun selling highly radioactive substances now? Can I source some weapons-grade plutonium for that backyard death ray I’ve been building from the comfort of my laptop?
The implied the Bad Guy had connections to “Russian spy craft”, by which I assume they mean the KGB. Presumably, his contacts with those bad guys enabled him to obtain the substance.
Nielsen ratings don’t mean that much anymore since many people watch on Demand or by TiVo.
They still mean something to the advertisers, who don’t really care about you watching the show if you’re watching it in a way that means you don’t see the ads they’ve paid for.
It’s hard to believe that Judd Hirsch is actually 10 years older than his character, Abe. Hirsh was born in 1935. In fact, he’s now about 25 years older than Abe Vigoda, when Barney Miller was on and he looks younger than Abe Vigoda (who’s still alive at the age of 94, BTW) did then.
Wow, looking at Abe Vigoda’s IMDB page, at 94, he still had an acting credit in 2014.

It’s pretty routine to cast actors as younger characters, it’s just we’re used to seeing people in their 20’s playing high school students rather than 80 year olds playing 70 year olds.
Judd Hirsch does have good genes (apparently, since he’s now related to an immortal).
I thought it was a good way they connected the two “I’m related to a Daniel <mumble>” “Uncle Danny?”
I also really like how this episode had Henry’s past actually affect the case.
Pretty cold of the former intelligence service guy to pull a gun on a baby.
That’s what the wriggle room of “unlikely” encompasses.
Are we still watching?
I was kinda sad to see that Henry still isn’t ready for a semi-normal relationship. But after seeing what happened with Abigail, I can understand why. That kind of slow loss had to be awful for both of them. And after his first wife threw him in an asylum (not that I blame her) I can’t blame him for being gun-shy.
Still watching.
I find it odd that the writers are pairing him with the Dominatrix. It’s an odd choice for TV to take what would generally be a character thrown in for salaciousness and make them a major character.
Good save when he was talking about the 70’s turntable – “We had one of these… at Abe’s shop.”
Yea, as weird as it probably was for Martinez, it was probably twice as weird for someone that had lived through it.
On the 70’s flashback with his wife? Why didnt he just dye his hair grey? Or at least add graying temples?
