Just got my new catalog from University Press of Kentucky (my own past and—I hope—future publisher) and I see that Joe Nickell’s The Mystery Chronicles is due out in April! It covers (and skewers) The Shroud of Turin, “Mothman,” the Amityville “Horror,” the goat-suckin’ Chupacabra, etc.
Unless I can snag a free copy from UKY, I will be first in line.
I’ve never even heard of this guy before. A quick look on amazon shows a number of books I want to read. Looks like I’ll have to head out to the library.
And right after I bought myself a big ol’ book to read last night, too. Admit it Eve. You hate me, don’t you.
