No one’s said a word yet about “Livin’ In The Future.” I think that’s the real breakout track on this album. I’m still letting the other tracks grow on me, so I haven’t decided anything else yet, but I’m sold on “Livin’ In The Future.”
Couldn’t resist either–purchased it with the new Mark Knopfler album “Kill to Get Crimson”.

Grr, no Bruce coming close to me. Since we were having Thanksgiving dinner at our house last night, my husband taped “60 Minutes” for me. Pretty good interview. I love the contrast between Bruce’s gravelly voice and his thoughtful responses. Also the humour in admitting that it’s just plain fun to be a rock star, and an “attention whore”. However, I certainly don’t see him that way–that’s for Britney Spears and her ilk.
I feel the same way politically as he does, with a bit of distance to it as I’m not American, so that only increases my appreciation of him all the more.
I think the world of him.
My favourite tracks are Radio Nowhere, You’ll Be Comin’ Down, Gypsy Biker, Girls in Their Summer Clothes, Magic and Long Walk Home, along with Terry’s Song.
