New Tolkien Book: The Fall of Gondolin

I couldn’t find a thread on the upcoming new Tolkien release, The Fall of Gondolin. I’m surprised I had to learn of this on the street, rather then from keen-eyed Straight Dopers. Here’s the scoop:

Anyone else excited? Anyone pre-ordering? I can’t wait to get a first edition to go next to my first editions of The Silmarillion and The Children of Hurin. And of course a paperback to actually read.

I’m guessing that, like last year’s Beren and Luthien, it’s going to be mostly a repackaging of material that has already been published in The History of Middle Earth.
