What in the name of love are you talking about?
I’d explain it to you, but I don’t work pro bono.
That was Bad.
He probably did it before love came to town.
It took me a bit of messing about to get iTunes to actually download the album. I don’t know what it was that finally worked, exactly. Might have been reloading the iTunes Store page a few times, might have been just waiting long enough. It did eventually work, though.
True. But any day with a new U2 album is definitely a beautiful day. I bet this goes to #1 with a bullet. The blue sky is the limit, I’m sure!
Just looked at my library and it is slightly weird to just have it appear there out of nowhere.
Did you feel a sense of Pride when you saw it in there?
I just hope the album is not a Lemon.
Well when Jay-Z made his “Magna Carta” album a free download with use of a Samsung app, Billboard refused to count that as a record sale. Then again Billboard has been known to recently change its rules when big timers put up pressure.
Yeah. This means War.
Boy, this thread’s getting silly.
I don’t know. I think it’s even better than the real thing
I like U2.
I’ve only ever gotten to see them play once (MSG) and 2 tix and a T-shirt cost me easily 1 month’s pay (back when I was making good money). I was maybe 5 rows from the farthest, highest back wall. I heard the music fine, but the show was too energetic to see well through binoculars.
Still, I’m glad that I went. Thank You Very Much for telling me about the album!
Seriously though, what’s the deal? I can see in the iTunes store it says “purchased”. But the songs aren’t in my iTunes Library nor can I play any of the songs for more that 90 seconds.
Try the trick in comment #8. It worked for me and it should work for you too.
Oh, there is just one other thing. The code to fully download this free album is split into two parts.
You get half when you purchase an iPhone6 and half when you get the iWatch.
The only surprise is that anyone is surprised by this…
You still haven’t found what you’re looking for?
Go to the right side of Windows based iTunes when you’re on the store. See ‘Purchased’? Click on that. Under Music, Not On This Computer. Down in the lower right there should be a download all button. If there’s other stuff on that page that you don’t want to download, you should be able to click on the album and then download one or all.
I notice nobody’s really talking about the content, probably because it’s pretty terrible. Maybe one level above the blandness of Sting. Which is to say, Coldplay.
