This song’s style is marginally reminiscent of “Stacy’s Mom has got it Going On.”
A few Coulton songs I think are similar to Skipper Dan: Shop Vac, Tom Cruise Crazy, and Ikea, the first two more so than the third.
Some of my favorite of his songs are the “style parodies” like that. One of the best is “Genius in France.” Cracks me up every time…TRM

Frank Zappa. Dweezil Zappa played the opening guitar riff. Apparently it actually switches between a few different styles of Zappa’s, which is why the song seems to shift gears so much. I love it too.

Somehow I keep hearing this being sung by those “freecreditreport.com” guys.
Well, that’s 4 minutes of my life that I’ll never get back. While I’m not familiar with the original, the same could be said of “White & Nerdy” and that was great.
I’m hoping that this isn’t really from Weird Al and is just someone pulling prank.
That was awesome… really looking forward to this next ALbum. (I liked “whatever you like”, but Craiglist was painful, since it was such a dead-on Doors impression, and I HATE the Doors. This one’s catchy enough to put on repeat. yay, Al!)
