bup’s better - it can be the noise a dog makes (in Catalan).

Mr Trouser-Snake? Just a guess…

That’s Ms. Trouser-Snake to you. First name One-Eyed.

One reference to something my daughter was involved with back in 1999.

There’s an article with my name in the title. From one of my research results of years gone by.

One of my kids stumbled across it a couple weeks ago. Now I’m an even cooler parent.

Great, the first mention of my last name is the BTK Killer.

Rader

Yup, my ancestor invented the Coney Island hot dog. Sadly the stub on him doesn’t go into his Beer Garden and amusement rides, which rivaled early Luna Park, Steeplechase and Dreamland. Part of the beer garden is preserved as Astroland.

As for my Nom de Dope, I found an Indian High Commissioner to Tanzania. Which is pretty cool, and all - cause it’s an Indian High Commissioner to Tanzania. How random.

:wally

I’ll be darned.

My lastname is in the form “commonlastname from villagename”.

Commonlastname brings up some Colombian drug dealers. Villagename brings the village (I am so incredibly impressed, the place is tiny) and a river in the Czech Republic.

I’m not aware of my relation to the scientist responsible for this consensus choice.

I get nothing when I search for my last name. Absolutely nothing - not even after the first page when you can then check all the boxes - I checked them all and got nothing.

When I do a slight variation, I get one result, this. Change one more letter from that, and I get this (among others).

For my Doper name, I get nothing again.

My last name just yields a bunch of Norwegians. Mostly soccer players and at least one member of the Norwegian Royal Family.

My first name is from Norse mythology. The personification of wind. to be exact.

My Doper name nets this

My last name gets me the Left Behind series, and my first name gets me Akercocke’s Rape of the Bastard Nazarene. It’s very Zoroastrian.

I’ve met you – albeit briefly – and that was exactly what I thought. “That ultrafilter,” mused I – “What a Zoroastrian dude.” :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahura Mazda (whichever one he is) and that other guy love me very much.

I tried this right after twickster started the thread, but my last name was too common to get anything worthwhile. But when I went with my mother’s maiden name, I discovered that some possible distant cousin back in England was a National Front MP candidate from the Bromley and Chislehurst constituency in 1997. Nazis, I hate British Nazis.

There are NO MATCHES for my last name.

Woot!

Note that not all of the people featured on the cover or in the magazine model in the nude. (From Wiki)

When I put in my full name, it comes up with the page that refers to me.

Last name just gets people who share the name with me.

The page for my user-name is quite accurate.

Silenus was described as the oldest, wisest and most drunken of the followers of Dionysus, and was said to be the young god’s tutor.

I get a few hits for my last name, but they all involve the same Supreme Court case about flag-burning.
