New York Times hires unapologetic racist writer

Funny how it’s always the racists who like to trot this little saying out when it looks like the tide is going to be turning. Almost like they’re *afraid *of getting the same treatment minorities got in the past. Widdul snowfwakes can dish it out but can’t take it. Like schoolyard bullies running to Matron. Fuck off with your two wrongs bullshit. Here’s a little tune for all ya shitstains:

Stupid auto-lowercase…

I do find it a bit funny that these guys even try to whitesplain being white to white people.

When the vast majority of white people tell you they don’t face any persecution for being white, you should figure out that the problem must be something else.

It’s the Man, trying to keep you down.

this whole “it’s only racism if one group has power” stuff is communist bullshit. Racism means hating someone on account of his race/ethnicity. If you’re using a big and widespread platform like NYT to spread hatred of whites, you indeed are using power against one in writing/spreading it. A Hispanic punching an Asian guy because he’s Asian IS racist because that fist does have power.

The left doesn’t believe in individuals; everyone is an just a piece of some identity group.

Shame on the Failing New York Slimes for hiring this racist Jeong cunt. Intersectionality is the SJW version of the USSR’s “internationalist” foreign policy in which everyone is somehow “interconnected” or some shit.

Yeah, nothing like the Whites supremacists…

Fuck off, you stupid trollcunt.

Well, that post was idiocy of epic proportions, I can grant that…

It also sounds like very familiar and related projection from fascist groups:

no doubt some have hijacked the concept of hating communism for nefarious ends. But the vast majority of communism haters hate it because it failed, and killed a lot of people, their liberty, and wealth.

Economic communism flopped, and so will racial, sexual, “gender,” and other kinds of schemes to bring down the advantaged to ameliorate the jealousy of those with fewer advantages.

Aaaw, look, the troll is trying to bait outside its box, with the oh-so-casual scare quotes around gender.

What a shitshow.

Furthermore, non-hispanic whites are a minority making up less than 50% of the population in 5 states as of 2016. The majority-minority states are Hawaii, New Mexico, California, Texas and Nevada. Texas and California are technological growth engines, as is New York City.

In other news, Jeong trolls butthurt bigots on twitter:

I agree with Sarah Jeong: cool water is refreshing!

while that’s not inherently a bad thing, why is that a good thing? Does it signal virtue or something?

Are you suggesting skin color composition has a causal relationship with being a “growth engine?” That’s kind of racist.

and…

So when someone points out that racist comments about whites could have an impact, maybe we should pay attention to the increase in reported anti-white hate crimes?

Excusing this because whites have been in power and have committed far worse is irrelevant to the families of those attacked.

Well, indeed, like you…

I’m paying attention to all hate crimes. No one[sup]*[/sup] is “excusing” them.

[sup]*Barring a few outlier assholes.[/sup]

Uhh…yeah. Except not “almost”. Did you think this was a secret, or that you provided some special insight, as opposed to stating the obvious? :dubious:

It’s actually not. Maybe I should spell it out: I am NOT saying that minorities should go back to just taking abusive talk (including jokes) without complaining. I’m saying it’s wrong to dis ANYONE for characteristics they were born with and cannot change. Further: that characteristics people were born with and cannot change do not impart collective guilt or even collective responsibility for the offenses of others who happen to share those characteristics. That’s my mission statement right there.

Snort. Take a look at the guy who resurrected this thread: he had his panties in a bunch about the US becoming a majority-minority nation. My point is that parts of the US are already that way, which is to say the parts that are the growth engines of this great nation. Normal whites shrug.

As for states at the other edge of the spectrum, if you want to keep somebody in a ditch, you have to climb in a ditch with them.

If you payed attention to what I wrote, I said I didn’t care about being a minority, I cared about being a despised minority if current trends in discourse continue. I’m hopeful we can nip it in the bud and stop it from becoming worse, but the excuse making and rationalizations on this thread and the left wing media are making me worry that this a genuine problem and not merely alt-right paranoia.

“Jokes” are a convenient cover for bigots. It seems to me like it’s a way of testing the waters. If they get a negative response, they can say they aren’t serious and thus avoid consequences for their vile speech. But if they were to somehow gain enough political power, we may discover to our horror that these “jokes” weren’t actually jokes.

Well, no. You didn’t provide any evidence of any link. You provided evidence of hate crimes increasing across the board, not any indication of there being a spike towards white people specifically. This can easily be accounted for by increased awareness and reporting.

I also note that you gave percentages not raw numbers. So, if, for example, anti-white hate crimes are really low, then an increase may not mean all that much compared to the increases in the ones that are higher.

In other words, the information you brought up is not remotely useful to me.

What I can look at is my own experiences and the experiences of other white people. And, guess what? The claims of anti-white racism claims align somewhat by party and very well across people who shout “SJW” and ignore racism or other forms of bigotry. The specific examples I’ve seen of supposed anti-white racism are 99 times out of 100, not actually that, but just a misunderstanding at best, or persecution fantasies at worst.

In other words, I see no indication that there is any increase in anti-white bigotry. Just in people complaining about it–who happen to be on the political side that would benefit if it were true.

Ok fair distinction and worth saying, but whites are not a despised minority in California, Hawaii, Nevada, etc., which is why I was laughing at you. I’ve encountered some anti-white bigotry in my day*, but it’s damn rare, rare enough to be interesting. I think you are being hysteric.
