What [piece of crap] T.V. series do you think Hollywood will next make into a “new” motion picture?

Oops, :smack: , I guess this would have been more suited to Café Society.

Isn’t there an A-Team movie in the works? Jim Carey as “Mad dog” murdoch?
This is a serious question.
As far as others, I have no idea, Hollywood is incapable of surprising me these days. Lets go with Moesha the movie.
There is already a Sopranos in the works.
Sex In The City would be a logical choice.
I think Alias could work.
The final episode of Friends released ONLY as a movie would gross millions. (Of course, this would lead to the same ploy by Frazier, ER, and any other long-run hit series.)
Oh my dear sweet human construct, someone silence DMark before the mindless minions of movieland get a hold of this idea.
The last episode of every popular [milquetoast] T.V. show as a motion picture! The death of hope for cinema.
Isn’t there a “Bewitched” movie in the works (by “in the works” what I mean is, someone in Hollywood got paid $4 million to write “Bewitched movie” on a napkin and someone else got a cool million for adding “Jenna Elfman???” to it). If so, I can’t imagine “I Dream of Jeannie” is far behind. I’m surprised we haven’t seen a live-action Jetsons already too.
And a live-action Simpsons can’t be far behind…
There is a 21 Jump Street film in the planning stages, but I can’t remember where online I read it.
What does OTTOMH mean?

Off the Top of my Head.
Nevermind.

What about Magnum P.I.
Some bright spark green-lighted a live-action Wonder Twins Movie, starring Zan and Jayna from The Superfriends.
Oh, c’mon! Gilligan’s Island, of course!
Thinks of the casting;
Jim Carey as Gilligan,
John Goodman as the Skipper,
and… and…
well, you get the idea!
I remember reading somewhere that there already are plans for a Starsky and Hutch movie. Can’t remember the source, though.
Yup.
Waugh. Please, no. The show isn’t bad, but only in short installments. Please don’t give us 2 hours of the Feminine Four yammering on about the sexual exploits.
60s Cult Classic THE PRISONER is being made into a movie also.
Shows that have been discussed as big screen projects include HOGAN’S HEROES, I DREAM OF JEANNIE, and, of all “the hell?” things, F TROOP.
I would love to see a Magnum P.I. movie. I’m serious. A&E has gotten me back into it. No, I have not spoken IRL about this to anyone.
Starsky & Hutch is in works now. I believe Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller are starring in it.
Russell Crowe has mentioned making a Hogan’s Heroes movie but then said it would be closer to the movie Stalag 17 than to the TV show.
I think Nicole Kidman was mentioned as a lead for Bewitched before it was announced that she and Gus Van Sant are doing a remake of The Stepford Wives as a black comedy.
First it is Howling Mad, not Mad Dog.
Second, any one who suggests that another actor could fill the role shoulkd be tortured to death by all surviving cast members.
There have been rumors about an A-team movie for years. It never really got off the ground. I’ve seen some sites that haven’t been updated since '91 that talk about the possibility of a movie. It would be neat though.
I know that Simpson will end up as a poorly made live action movie. It seems logical.
