NFC East 2011

I remember all the naysayers on draft day, including footballoutsiders. Nice call, that one. After a quick search, we can all remember:

One of these things is not like the others…

So, anyone have the over/under on how many snaps Romo gets before he’s knocked out of the game this week?

Just posted by a friend of mine who is a TSA agent:

Love it.

Couldn’t have had a more satisfying last two weeks of the season, knocking both the Eagles and Cowboys out of the playoffs in back to back games. Even as a secondary Jets fan I can acknowledge that knocking the Eagles out by beating the Jets made it even more satisfying.

If you think Jerry Jones has been a loser for the past 15 years, you would be wrong.

120-120 (.500)

Jere has to figure out something. He really ante up for that building… and he needs playoff games to make that thing pay off. He doesn’t do well with strong figures (Johnson, Parcells) but he dominates weak guys (Phillips…Chan…that other guy who wore the headset who’s not even worth googling… )
He really needs to find a football middle guy… someone willing to put up with him and his son Steve… and communicate effectively with garrett and the field… A Jim Finks like guy… Finks worked in Minnesota…and Chicago… brought in Ryan tolerated Ditka… smooth things out between Halas and the field and drafted pretty damn well.

Don’t care how hung over I might be…it’s a beautiful fricking morning.

Its the day after and the sports media simply can not quit talking about this game. It is the only thing that happened yesterday!

Sad thing is that the guys who can really build a team (Johnson/Parcells) are the people Jerry needs but can’t work with. They lay a nice foundation, leave town, the successor does fairly well with it for a while, and Jerry destroys what they built.

I think his ego wants to be able to say he built a championship team all by himself, but in reality, he can’t do it without the likes of Johnson/Parcells. I bet that pisses him off.
