NFL 2020: Week 14

I feel like the Ravens are due. Maybe the Browns will do it, but…

That was an egregiously bad call for OPI on Baker when his arm got hit, momentum changer.

And the Ravens’ hopes lie in McSorley. Is this the start of the Trace Era?

How has ESPN had such bad commentating teams for like 15 years now?

Well if you like rushing TDs this game is historic.

…and the Trace Era is over as soon as it began.

This game is bonkers fun.

I was literally cheering for the Browns tonight just for you since I had no other rooting interest, my condolences. :frowning:

That fucking safety.

With teams like the Browns, with decades of losing and failure behind it, you’ve gotta be careful about getting your hopes up. Just when you think they’ve turned a corner…

You think that barely losing a hard fought game in a good game that takes them to 9-4 means they haven’t turned a corner?

It wasn’t that long ago that they were 1-31 over two consecutive years. It has been a while since you could legitimately say the Browns were good.

This probably should go in the Week 15 thread, but we haven’t started it yet, and I’m too lazy to do so, so I’m putting it here.

The Buccaneers have apparently had to put their kicker, punter, and long snapper all on the COVID reserve list. One of the big challenges in bringing in temporary replacements is getting those new players through testing in time, so if the Bucs didn’t learn about the situation early enough in the week to start lining up replacments, they may be without anyone at those specialist positions on Sunday.

Found a bit more on this: according to the Tampa Bay Times, they already had another kicker (Greg Joseph) on their practice squad, and have also brought in kicker Brett Maher, punter Dustin Colquitt, and long snapper Garrison Sanborn, who should be through the COVID testing protocol in time for Sunday, if needed.
