Obviously, we don’t know what the specific language is in his contract around “good moral character” and termination “for cause”. But most NFL coaching contracts require that any disputes be adjudicated by the Commissioner instead of in court, and there’s no way the man hired by the owners is going to rule against one. Still, I’m sure there’s a number that makes sense to both sides to just make this go away.
