That article is leaving out a part of that quote from the Bucs statement:
“at no point during the game did he indicate to our medical personnel that he could not play.”
Brown’s statement talks about him telling his coach about his ankle, so the two statements aren’t necessarily contradictory.
So Brown is claiming he’s got an MRI from Monday morning that shows his ankle is basically a collection of bone shards and shredded cartilage. Now his medical condition and records are between him and his doctor, no question, but it seems releasing a copy of that MRI and/or going to the union with it would vindicate everything he’s been saying, and make his former team look like a bunch of asshats.
He also claimed to have a COVID vaccination record, so I would take this with a grain of salt.
No one is coming out of this looking good.
Antics aside, who’s going to sign him to a team now?
