Slight hijack, but is it just me or does the audio on Fox Sports just suck? It seems like they have the sound from the field and crowd at about twice the level of the announcers. I’m listening on either the television speakers or though a 2 channel stereo, so no surround sound settings that could be the issue. I noticed the same thing when Fox broadcast the Indy car race in DC a few weeks ago.
Sure, most times the announcers just babble on and on, but if you are going to have them maybe make sure they are intelligible.

There will be an asterix there. The Jags had only 5 players on defense in the 2nd half against the Browns; allowing them 10 points.
I know I’m getting too cocky, but the Cardinals are looking good against the Chargers now. That blocked punt was gorgeous and the Cards are controlling the ball.

Packers as per usual do good on first half but then suck. I have stopped watching.
You know that feeling when your team blows a lead thanks to stupid penalties, stupid coaching, and stupid OLine play?
Yeah, Packers deserve to lose.
I’m a little surprised by the scheduling on this. They’re two playoff teams and people were thinking this would be a tight, highly contested game and it did end up coming down to the last minute. At least put it in the late afternoon slot if not in prime time.
Worse than that, it can’t feel good to have Kyler Murray go down early with a concussion but still end up losing to Carson friggin’ “it must be 2016, not 2026” Wentz
There were three other games this weekend that featured two playoff teams from last year:
Seahawks/Patriots (Super Bowl rematch, which is becoming common for Week 1)
Rams/49ers
Bears/Panthers
The point being that it certainly isn’t uncommon for two teams from last year’s playoffs to meet in Week 1.
I was all-in on the Jags coming into the game anyway (wish it was here but oh weel), but, yeah, they legitimized my choice today for sure.
[Lived in Jax for close to 50 years, but 1st 10 years in Cleveland as well as the last 3, went to old Cleveland Stadium as a kid.

Anyone know why I got BOTH 4 pm games with all FOUR teams being NFC? Is the whole NFC on Fox and AFC on CBS thang now totally obsolete?
It’s only happened 3 times, 1970, 2016, and now 2026.
Oh, I meant scheduling it in the usual 1pm (12 central) slot rather than a more prominent slot. Just looking at the other games, it was probably going to be one of the better ones
