NFL Division Weekend

I laughed when the receiver slipped, I know that.

The analysts said it was clean, maybe not entirely, but he definitely went FLOOOP. We saw that from both teams around the game.

And, no, the Steelers won’t go away. It’s up to JAX to hang on or pick off Big Ben.

I haven’t watched more than five minutes of football all season. I have no rooting interest in a game between the Eagles and the Falcons. And, as a general proposition, i believe that Philadelphia sports fans deserve every disappointment and every bad beat and every shattered dream that is inflicted on them.

But that play you linked was 50-50, at best. It certainly looked to me like Jones slipped and was going down on his own. A penalty against Atlanta there would have been an injustice, IMO.

This Jags/Steelers game is the most entertaining game I’ve seen all season.

Same here, especially now that it’s almost certain the Stealers are going to lose.

Can JAX beat Brady & Co. in Foxborough?

Wish I could go back in time and bet the over. Everyone had this as a 20-16 type game.

I picked Jags vs Vikings in the SDMB Super Bowl pool.

80 seems like a lot of points for a playoff game.

These teams had the 2nd and 7th best defense in the league.

Every time the Stealers lose, an Angel gets his wings. Thank me later, Clarence.

Whereas every time the Bungles lose, that’s just Sunday.

Keenan has a really unorthodox release but boy does it work for him.

The Jags actually managed to impress me, and that’s not easy to do. I think they might actually have a chance to unseat the Kings of Referee Aid.

Brady sucks when he’s pressured (one of my two principal objections to people naming him GOAT. I think Russell Wilson is better than Brady, let alone Joe Montana. The other is that he has BB and a lot of damn good personnel behind him. If he weren’t on the Pats, he’d be Eli at best). Sacksonville probably does have the best chance to beat them, of all the AFC contenders. The question is will Bortles show up like he did this week, or will he be the way he was for most of the season?

At least the possibility exists that the AFC might send a different team to the SB this time around.

No, actually he isn’t. But you would never accept that, having made up your mind on the subject already.

Wow the Saints are looking terrible. And the Vikings looking very good. It will be a miracle if the Saints can even make it a game in the 2nd half.

How cool would it be if we had Conference Champions’ quarterbacks of Case Keenum, Blake Bortles, Nick Foles, and Tom Brady.

Terrible clock mismanagement by the Steelers at the end of their game.

Terrible special teams play, too, on both onsides kick attempts. On the last one, PIT needed to recover the onsides kick and advance the ball into the end zone — an onsides kick recovery and TD on the same play. Do teams even have a play for that? Has it ever succeeded? I’ve never heard of it.

NE and JAX look like the best teams left, so far. NO @ MIN is still going. Next week’s AFC Championship game should be a good one!

Umm, why, what’s the significance?

Regardless of who wins, Kamara’s a beast.
