New series on Amazon Prime.
It’s pretty much exactly Hard Knocks, but for the entire (previous) season, featuring the Arizona Cardinals. Of course, unlike Hard Knocks, if you paid any attention to football last year, even if you’re not a Cardinals fan, you likely already know what happens, but it’s still compelling television.
I’m up to the last episode and I don’t care in the least about the Cardinals, but I’ve enjoyed it immensely. The in-game footage of the players hanging out on the sidelines, having casual conversations on the field with opposing players, joking around with the refs, coaches coaching, what the opposing players say to each other after the game ends, it’s fascinating, all that stuff you see on the regular broadcast but never get to actually hear what they’re saying.
