NFL officials suck, and the fans are rubes, and the commentators are nauseating

Eli,

Hopefully rhis will cheer you up

Really? Ask a Bostonian whose bandwagon they’re jumpin on when someone is playing the Yankees in the playoffs. Or some from Los Angeles when someone’s playing San Francisco. Or Chicago and St. Louis.

Or Colorado and Detroit in hockey. Good times.

Gangster, you are one cruel mother…

Bwahahaha! I loved it. Well done!

Let’s see. How many visiting players have been injured during Eagles home games? Lots. Who got picked on? One–Michael Irvin. Do you think that had anything to do with the fact that Irvin was a raging jackass with a really seamy side (the whole cocaine and prostitute thing)? I’m not saying it was right, but it wasn’t like poor little Joey who never did anything to anyone was the one who got injured.

All the people that rag on Eagles fans must not get any Oakland Raiders home games on TV.

DTC, fuck his mom and dad? Well now we know the Valedictorian of the DreadChutuhlu School of Ettiqueqe, Charm and Class. Congrats!

That Purple and Gold pill just gets more and more bitter everyyear, doesn’t it? I enjoyed going back and forth on team loyalty, but you lost any respect as a person I could ever afford you.

Like he`ll give a shit duffer.

GO PACK!!

Damn damn damn! How’d you get ahold of that? You’re only supposed to get those pamphlets in the Lambeau Initiation Rite / Brainwashing Summer Camp o’ Fun. They pass those out right after the “Lombardi is my shepard” chant and the “Our Favre, who art in Lambeau, hallowed be thy name” prayer. Then we all eat cheese and play pin the loss on the Viking.

Seriously, though, as a product of Philly and having been to a Raiders home game, I can tell you that the Eagles fans and the Raider Nation take the cake as far as unseemly fans.

Didn’t expect him to, it would take a human with compassion. Wonder what he would say had I said that about his parents? hmmm

Go Pack!

Those thugs in Cleveland are right there with them. “Best fans in football”? Only if you’re a bail bondsman.

As a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan, I recall those horrible years when the Purple People Eaters from across the border destroyed us every year. So it’s a little of what goes around…

On the other hand, I have to confess to having a great deal of sympathy for you Vikings fans recently, especially this year. To go six and oh to start the season, and then not even make the playoffs has got to be frustrating. And to lose it via a miracle catch on the last play of the game against Arizona. Ouch.

I think most every city has their obnoxious fans. It seems to be part of the experience.

This weekend will be weird. The Eagles are my favorite non-Packer team. My son’s bedroom was a shrine to Randall Cunningham so I think I caught the fever from him. I like the Eagles. But not this weekend.

Go Pack!!

I wish we could redirect all this “your team’s fans suck” energy into something more productive.

Like, for instance, getting that fucking Joe Theisman/Paul Maguire sideshow off national television every week. Is it really necessary for ESPN to subject fans of the game to these two bozos quibbling with each other every Sunday night?

Aw, how cute Dio, looks like you’ve got a little pet!

We’re a big country. International to you is local to us.

Q: Why are the Vikings purple?
A: You would be too if you’d been choking for 41 years.

Seriously, I’m a Pack fan and I’m as sick as anyone of the media’s constant banging on the Favre situation. Their season had turned around well before his father died, and not just because of Favre. The WRs are playing as well as I’ve seen since the mid-90s, Green isn’t fumbling, and the run defense has been playing a lot better.
They have a decent shot in Philly but in my heart of hearts I don’t see them getting past St. Louis. But they are one good cornerback away from making a run next year.
As far as fans go, get real. Fans everywhere boo correct calls by the refs and smart decisions by the coach. It happens.
GB 31 PHL 27 Green 115 yds and 2 TDs

UncleNito,

I also worry about St. Louis, but I am not so sure they make it past Carolina.
