The non PI call on the next series was even more egregious. Not only was the Baltimore defender not playing the ball, but he actually stuck his leg out and tripped the Denver receiver.
The Ravens should be flagged for having 18 men on the field.

There was a play on the next possession where a DB stuck an arm out to block the path of a receiver on a would be touchdown.
Awesome throw and catch there by Manning/Moreno.
It’s too cold for Peyton Manning to have that drive and TD pass.
I’m really glad that play was not called PI. It looked like fully incidental contact to me (not intentional tripping), and I really despise the turn the whole not-looking-at-the-ball-automatic-PI that seems to have taken hold in the NFL the past few years.
When?
Not sure if we’re talking about the same play here or not, I tend to think not since I don’t know when there was “tripping”, but on the play I had issue with the Raven DB stuck out his left arm to block the path of Thomas intentionally. Nothing incidental about it.
And a Denver DB did the same thing the Boldin a couple of series later. The officials are letting them play a bit more than most crews do, but at least they’re consistent about it.
When will they fire Dierdorf? Good god enough already.
As I was watching the pregame it came to me that the NFL and the Networks must being actively trying to punk the American public. I can think of no other reason why every single pregame talk show would be so littered with actively infuriating and idiotic people. I don’t know anyone who watches these show except incidentally. Sharpe? Bradshaw? Berman? There’s no chance someone out there actually tunes in for these guys and there’s no way any smart media exec can not see how bad they are.
Nah, totally different plays. The Boldin one was typical hand fighting. The Thomas one was going fully into the body and blocking his path. Very different.
I saw the opposite. It looked to me like Thomas pushed the defender’s hip with his right hand which is what initiated the contact that led to the fall.
Wow, Torrey Smith is having an amazing game. This is 2 long TDs and he was overthrown on another easy third one.
Champ is getting burned badly. Broncos need to make an adjustment.
There was no fall, we must be talking about different plays.
Great game so far! 21-21 at the half? Pretty exciting.
Almost 40 seconds left - don’t get ahead of yourself!
If there was no fall, then I’m not sure which play you’re talking about either - that was the only one that I thought was iffy.
See post #16.
Ugh, that fumble was a much-needed gift to Denver.
Yeah, different plays. I saw what Speak to me Maddie! saw.
I just don’t understand the tuck rule. That’s all there is to it. I don’t get it.
