If you want to sell it as a “close call that went against the Niners”, have at it.: It was a judgment call.
But to compare it to travesty that was the Saints no call is just silly.

As opposed to me - I HATED the 49ers when Harbaugh was head coach. I’ve been “okay” with them ever since he left.
Well, the game has lived up to its pre-game billing so far as far as I’m concerned. I’m a little surprised that the 49ers haven’t imposed themselves upon the Chiefs so far but it’s a good, tight game so that pleases me.
I guess this halftime show is what passes for ‘family entertainment’ these days?
Logistical question: Seeing the fans there, I’m assuming the stadium just opens gates of some sort and allows the fans to run out on to the field during the halftime show, and then shoo them back into their seats when the show ends?
By current standards, yes. It did include a children’s choir just before before the Double Ass Attack finale.
Don’t get me wrong: I can do without the Harbaugh intensity. I had a major debate with some Bay Area peeps back in 2014 when he left. They said “ZOMG! Harbaugh’s out, Jed York’s the devil!” I agreed Harbaugh was a great coach but not as great as he believed he was. Harbaugh gets on everyone’s nerves after year 3, which is why I think this might be his last year in Ann Arbor. He might pull a Lane Kiffin and coach at some rinky dink school like Delaware and turn in a 9-2 or 19-1 season and play the Pinstripe Bowl, but he can’t handle big time.
Mindless rant over.
No, it’s a travesty. You let the offense run routes unless they’re pushing off and knocking the defender backwards - that did not happen. Awful call.
I hate the guy, but Nick Bosa is pretty effin’ good.
And the Niners defense comes through again. Fun game.
I like that Juszczyk guy.
Ticket holders have to stay off the field. The halftime crowd fans are actually hired extras that rehearse coming onto and off of the field and are given directions on how and when to bounce, sway, handwave, etc. Notice how none of them, like zero of them, were just standing there recording the thing on their cell phones like 80% of the them would be doing if they were actual ticket holders.
Good watching for 3 quarters. Mahomes is not looking great.
Mahomes throws behind Hill, possibly costing the Chiefs the game. I love great defensive football, which the Niners are playing, but Mahomes is having a rough game.
As much as it might make me seem like part of a Grumpy Old Men reboot, that made me chuckle.
Yeah, he picked a bad day to be bad.
It’s been a great game and for once, my team looks like they’re going to win. The 49ers are my forever team!
Pole dancing is now half-time entertainment and I found it less offensive by far to the role the military now plays in our sports diversions.
My favorite Superbowl ad: Jason Momoa taking off his muscles and hair.
Bad penalty to take there. I mean I don’t watch football and I know that was pass interference.
I get that that play where the defender doesnt turn around is pass interference.
But it shouldn’t be.
The guy was on great position and, from what I saw, didnt hit Kelce before the ball got there. Receivers shouldn’t have the right to go anywhere they want at any time.
And while I think asahi is dead wrong about the Kittle OPI being a travesty, the close calls have not gone the Niners way. It would be a shame if that decides the game.
What the hell was with a 54pt o/u, anyway? That is way over most of the regular season o/u-s. Was this supposed to be a big O showdown or something?
Man, this is exciting!
