NFL Playoffs

Yes, refs doing the job they are paid to do, and doing it correctly.

Actually, draping yourself all over AJ Green a full second before the ball arrives really does constitute defensive pass interference. And it was a Bengals RB that ran the ball into the endzone, not a zebra.

The zebra made it possible

You said turnovers.

What bad call, specifically, are you referring to? The PI was a good call.

Good thing there’s no drama in this game.

What the …

Cardiology must be a booming industry in Cincinnati.

That was one of the cheapest hits I have seen in a long time.

Nothing like a game being decided by lack of discipline by a bunch of idiots.

What was the second penalty on Jones? They didn’t show it in replay.

Not sure. I thought they said he pushed a ref but I am not sure.

Oh my. For as boring as that 1st half was the 2nd half definitely delivered. What a finish in Cincinnati.

Never did see what Adam Jones did for the 2nd personal foul.

That was weird. Pacman was trying to shove Joey Porter and he went over a ref’s shoulder and bumped him.

Wouldn’t Porter (a coach) running out to the field to talk shit to the players be a penalty of some sort in the first place?

I mean if he coached for another team.

Really doesn’t matter. That FG was right down the middle and 20 yards past the crossbar. 'Twas Burfict’s penalty that mattered.

What an amazing job of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. At every opportunity the Bengals contributed to their own defeat with less than 2 minutes left to play. Let this be a lesson to any team that plans to screw up in any way that they can at the end of game.

What a fucking shitshow that was.

Should Bengals have kneeled instead of running the ball?

That game was a travesty, but putting all of this on the Bungles is unfair. They embarrassed themselves, but the Steelers were about as classless as any team I’ve ever seen as well. Coaches getting involved in shoving matches with players, talking shit, dancing and celebrating when Gio was still down on the field, all unbelievable.

The Refs blew it on the Gio hit and set this all up. The rules are muddy for sure, but they called a penalty on the Bengals for a hit on Bryant in the first half that was much closer to clean than that Gio hit was. That and the taunting that went unpunished had ever bit as much too do with this game deteriorating as the complete lack of discipline by the Bengals.

Wonder if Lewis is fired tomorrow, I wouldn’t be shocked. Someone has to pay for this.

No. They couldn’t have taken any time off the clock that way, as the Steelers had all their timeouts left. Three runs up the gut, hope you get a first down. If you do, then kneel. If you don’t, kick the field goal and the Steelers need a touchdown drive with 1:30 on the clock and no timeouts. Hanging on to the ball is imperative, though.
