As a Broncos fan, all I can say is ‘HAW Haw’*. Sadly, this will probably be the only time this season I get to do that.

The Panthers looked as bad as I expected today, except for the very first drive of the game where they looked like they had been playing possum all preseason. They marched down field and smashed the Eagles in the mouth, then proceeded to roll over and show their bellies for the rest of the game. Delhomme picked up right where he left off in the playoffs. Cardinals… Eagles… he doesn’t do well against the birds. All told, they gave up up 5 picks, 2 fumbles and a punt return TD. Ouchie.
Are the 49ers a lot better this year, or is this first manifestation of this year’s Super Bowl Curse?
Same here - missing the Ravens games is the only thing I dislike about living out west. I just can’t see heading out to a bar at 10:00 am.
Also, fuck Peyton Manning’s “new” franchise record. Johnny Unitas never wanted anything to do with the Colts after 1984. His 118 wins are Baltimore history, not Colts history.

I didn’t catch Philly/Carolina. Did Delhomme suck because his surgery didn’t work and he still doesn’t have an arm?
That surgery was before last season. He played all of last year without pain. He actually played pretty well in the regular season last year, but imploded in the playoffs, and continued today.
Cutler channeling Favre on a bad day.
Cutler was really insistent that his pass get picked off there. He kept trying over and over until GB got it right.
Even the refs were trying to help him with a first down, but dammit he was bound and determined to throw a pick.
Well, Tramon Williams can’t keep dropping the ball and expect Cutler to keep throwing it to him.
Did the Bears coaching staff forget that they have a decent tailback? Hand the ball of to Forte a couple of times and let Cutler settle down a little (if he can).
We know the Packers are blitzing. We’re doing an amazing job of picking it up. Yet Cutler either gags on the pass or they are running no WRs downfield to exploit it. Our blocking is so good so far that our offense should be churning. God I hope Cutler settles down and the WRs get their heads out of their asses.
And the refs hand another one to the Bears.
I hate to say it, but they’ll usually call that. The worst thing was, he didn’t have to do it to spring the play.
ETA: But they’ll usually call that facemask on Driver, too.
