NFL Week 10

You spoke too soon Omni.

NFL teams punt far too often, as several simulations have made clear. But apparently they fear the Monday Morning Quarterbacks enough to rarely go for it in their own territory. Doesn’t mean this particular decision was the right one tho.

Lost in this decision was the bizarre defensive gameplan by NO after they had pinned Atl. down on their own 5 with 2 minutes to go and no timeouts-talking about their blitzing on almost every single play, giving up big gains in the process. If they had just rushed 3 and kept back 8 and give up short gains, the Falcons would have run out of time before they could have gotten into FG range.

Well, this Chicago-Detroit game is over. Wish I had the Chicago D in my fantasy league.

Giants have the lead and got a quick punt finally from Niners. It is 13-12 Giants currently.

Based on my league’s scoring, the Bears D is .5 pts away from the record this season.

Did I hear the announcers correctly that Suh recently had to have a face-to-face meeting with the NFL commissioner about his conduct? If I did hear that correctly, you’d think that would have sent a message.

I thought that Suh called the meeting to ask “what the fuck?”

Nick just cost himself a fairly large sum. (ugh)

Apparently not. And now Fairley is doing the same dirty shit. Time to tale Schwartz out back and have him shot. Enjoy your pack of thugs who will miss the playoffs again Detroit.

I’d have defended Briggs going dirty on Megatron as payback, but that hit was crystal clean. No helmet to helmet at all. Not defenseless.

I hope it is Eli time, a little over 5 minutes and need a TD to tie.

Fisticuffs!

The QB starting a fight? Not smart. There’s most of a quarter for him to get hurt.

Ok. I’m ready to start running plays at Schwartz and put him in a cast.

Whoa, that’s like hockey-level fighting. I haven’t seen that in a while. Is there especially bad blood between these teams traditionally?

So… What the over/under on total fines for this game?

It’s actually down from pre-game estimates. Detroit is playing slightly less dirty than usual.

Giants just made 2 4th down conversions. High anxiety game this is. Sounds like you’ve got a great one in Chicago.

$150k? Game’s not over.

Bears are actually beating the Lions pretty bad, 37 to 6 at this moment, but there’s lots of bare-knuckle stuff.

I know the score, it just sounds like a fun game to watch.

Well Giants just lost, they could not convert 3 straight 4th downs. :frowning:
