Granted it was vs the Cowboys, but a convincing win feels good.
Winning season guaranteed.

Green Bay won only because Dez Bryant was once again cheated out of a reception.
damn that cheating ball, touching the turf like that
Carolina is by far the best team in the NFL. I don’t see them losing or New England in the playoffs. Carolina and New England in the Superbowl.
Carolina plays in a weak division; I strongly disagree that they are ‘by far’ the best team in the NFL.
Yes, Carolina did have/does have a comparatively easy schedule. Their opponents included the NFC-E and the AFC-S, two rather milquetoasty divisions (1 and 2 in the NFC-E have the same record as 2 and 3 in the NFC-S). Being 13-0 is partly about having a good team, but having good luck matters almost as much.
It will be a quite interesting game should Carolina get a rematch against Seattle…which will of course be played in Carolina. I think Seattle wins it but ill be rooting for Carolina because I hate Pete Carroll.
Chiefs have won 7 in a row after beating Seattle 10-3.
KC is already still pumped after the Royals win.
I was wondering how easy a schedule Carolina has had, so I looked it up this morning. As of now, they have played two teams that currently have a winning record. Check that, they have played 2 teams that currently have a .500 record or better.
They beat the Packers (9-4) and the Seahawks (8-5). They have played the NFC East (best teams at 6-7) and the AFC South (best teams at 6-7). The rest of the NFC south is under .500.
They are good, buy they have had a ridiculously easy schedule.
Seems the likely explanation, I checked 2 sources before posting. Although I don’t know how many points Schaub is worth compared to Clausen.
How about those Niners? They gotta be the worst team in the NFL by a long shot to make the Browns look competent. I think Crowell’s 145 yards doubled his next best rushing performance all year.
I assure you this did not happen yesterday.
Well, The Chiefs did win their seventh in a row. And the score was 10-3. But the opponent was San Diego, not Seattle.
And two out of three ain’t bad?
After the Chiefs beat Seattle 24-20, they went 2-4 and missed the playoffs. But that was last season. They did lose to the Hawks, 13-14, in the pre-season for whatever that might be worth. Oh how distant in the past their division rivalry seems these days.
Im so happy that the Raiders are on the way back. They have shown a lot of character this year and its always sweet to beat Denver in Denver but I wouldnt mind if they lost out only so they could get one more better draft class. They resigned Crabtree and lets hope they wrap up Mack and Carr soon.
It’s hard for a team to have a tough strength of schedule when the opponents have 13 losses and 0 wins because of that team. If Carolina lost all their games, they’d have 8 opponents with a winning record.
The NFC South is tied with the AFC East for the most wins, so it’s not a weak division (which was said by another poster).
Carolina has the highest strength of victory out of all the winning teams in the NFC. No winning team in the NFL has a SoV over .500 NFL Standings - 2024 Regular Season Playoff Standings - ESPN .
Well, when the Patriots went 16-0 they beat the 13-3 Colts, 13-3 Cowboys, 11-5 Chargers, 10-6 Giants (first time), 10-6 Steelers, 10-6 Browns, and 9-7 Redskins. So it can be done.
There’s nothing you can do about NFL scheduling. Not their fault they got slotted against the AFC South and that their own division is weak. That said, yes they’ve had a weak schedule and it won’t get much better with final games against NYG, Atlanta and the Bucs.
