Facebook memories reminded me that today is the 4 year anniversary of the infamous Mustard vs Ketchup game. At least it was the beginning of the end for those awful color rush uniforms.

“Mustard vs. Ketchup”? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! I do have to agree with you that some of those so-called “color rush” uniforms are pretty bad (I especially don’t like any that feature the color YELLOW as the primary one [I’m talkin’ 'bout YOU, Rams], but any that turn colors that are best used as accents into primary ones [sorry, Seahawks] aren’t really to my liking, either).

The Packers, wisely, realized that both an all-yellow uniform, and an all-green uniform, would look awful, so their Color Rush uniforms are all-white.

Because the next TD pass would give Drew Brees the all time NFL touchdown record. As it was they had one but it was nullified by a penalty. They kicked a FG instead, then got the TD and the record in the 3rd quarter. But going for the record at then end of the half without giving them any points was just too blatant, so they settled for a FG.

Brees was my fantasy QB and I lost my playoff game by 3 points :(. I wish the Colts had scored some points to force NO to play til the end. I needed a shootout.

Yeah it was called the “condiment bowl” at the time. It was a pretty lousy game too; neither team was that good in 2015.
