NFL Week 15

I should have gone to Oregon.

I have ESPNEWS on in the background today and caught a quick report from San Fran by some new ESPN reporter named John Sutcliffe. OMG, he’s horrible. Sounded like a SNL skit featuring a junior high school kid. Good god man.

An hour to go before the playoffs start.

The three times on MNF that two teams with 10 wins and a .750 winning percentage each played each other, the 49ers have played in and won all three games.

Jesus Christ, it was a power outage, why are the announcers acting so hysterical?

But there was no shaking!

No panic in the stands. Thank Goodness.

It was pretty normal to wonder about the earthquake question, but they seem to have calmed down since there’s no reason to suspect that. The transformer blowout was huge, but I’m assuming nobody was hurt.

Nothing is happening. OMG!!!

The power is back on.

Maybe it’s just that I spent my whole life in California but there was nothing to indicate an earthquake. They’re acting like total pussies.

No, there wasn’t. But the guys in the studio in Connecticut didn’t know that. Meanwhile they’ve stopped talking about the power entirely at this point and are talking about how the delay might affect the game.

Thank God there are Steelers fans there to keep the atmosphere festive.

But, but… Carlos Rodgers can’t catch!

Damn, the 49ers need to dump that cesspit of a stadium and build a new one, and have it closer to me.

(Cant even keep the power on, how embarrassing.)

Is John Sutcliffe about to start crying? He sounded dejected that they wouldn’t tell him anything about the power issues.

Perhaps a top 5 dumbest comment I’ve ever heard uttered.

This is shaping up to be a textbook Roethlisberger last drive comeback game.

OK, so half the Steelers are wearing yellow cleats. Why exactly is this okay when Earl Bennett was practically tarred and feathered for wearing orange ones?

Not anymore. The guy looks to me like he is playing with pain, and that the pain is getting to him.

One can only assume it was sarcasm.

I’m watching this delayed, but right now it looks like my Niners are really pwning the Steelers.
