Yeah, Packere aren’t stupid. Don’t risk Willis for no reason.
Willis was amazing though. No wonder he was hurt, he probably pulled a muscle carrying that entire offense on his back.

Yeah, I’m switching to the Heidi movie😀
I believe that the Packers are now locked into the #7 seed. If so, there’s nothing to play for against the Vikings next weekend, so they might as well rest guys like Love, Watson, Jacobs, etc. in hopes that they can make a game of it in the Wild Card round.
But, that said, the team that was so strong in the first half of the season is now looking a lot like they will be one-and-done in the playoffs.
Bear Down!!
Right, Frog!
You are correct. Packers have a record of 9-6-1, so the best they can achieve is 10-6-1.
Meanwhile, the Niners and Rams already have 11 wins, so the Pack cannot catch either of them.
The Pack could play any one of four, perhaps five teams in the wild-card.
It’s amazing what happens when you lose your 188 million dollar/best defensive player and your most important offensive player. Hard for any team to win if you take away their best 2 players.
Definitely so. Injuries happen in this sport, but even beyond Parsons and Love, the Packers have had a bad time of it over the last month-plus. They have two tight ends (Kraft and FitzPatrick), including their starter, on IR, as well as their best offensive lineman (Jenkins) and another starting defensive lineman beyond Parsons (Wyatt).
I’m somewhat glad the Packer Game was on Peacock because I don’t have that, and wasn’t going to subscribe. I considered listening on the radio, but just watched Netflix instead. I checked the score at halftime, and didn’t check again until this morning.
Brian
FFS, the Panthers grab JSN’s mask and then tackles him by dragging him down from the back collar of his jersey. No flag.
Earlier, as Shaheed is going out of bounds, a Panther grabbed him, swung him around off the field, and slammed his head into someone which put him in concussion protocol. No flag.
There’s apparently open season on Seattle.
Patriots feeling it; 35-3 over the Jets coming to halftime.
Long way to go, obviously, but at halftime:
Seahawks tied with Panthers, 3-3
Browns lead Steelers 10-6
Colts lead Jaguars 10-7
Dolphins lead Bucs 17-7
Well, fuck the Steelers I suppose
People who say “jagwire” should not call Jacksonville games.
Ravens had most observers - including their fans - convinced they were all but dead.
They proceed to stomp the Packers, and today watch the Steelers sit out their game with the Browns. So next Sunday they host the Steelers (at home, no doubt as the favorite) with the winner claiming the AFC North title.
Probably Saturday for Pittsburgh/Baltimore, I’m guessing.
I figure the NFL will schedule as the two Saturday games Baltimore at Pittsburgh and Carolina at Tampa Bay as division deciding games with Seattle at SF for the big Sunday night game. The other games with at least one playoff team (for the AFC South and AFC East) won’t directly decide divisions on their own.
Pretty rough for the NFL and ratings that so many things were decided by this week. But I’m sure they can find a way to console themselves with the billions of dollars made this year
Will Lamar Jackson play?
The various combinations confuse me.
Just focusing on the implications of tonight’s Bears 49ers game on NFC seeding.
I get that it matters but not what then has to happen in the case of each wins to result in what?
If I were a Ravens fan I’d almost want to see Huntley start.
The Seahawks are 13-3. They’ve only had that record once in franchise history.
That year they won the Super Bowl.
