I can’t say why exactly, but I’m enjoying Minnesota’s ineptitude.
And just as I say that… Fumble Rec and td.
The bandwagon steelers contingent is back at my sports bar. If only they started 0-2, they’d all be gone or maybe cowboys fans.
The Lions are clubbing the Vikes . They are on the way to ending their 21 road game losing streak.
Billie is fun to watch. Knocks tacklers on their asses.
Cribbs is looking good at receiver.
Is there a penalty that they dreamed up that the Lions have not received today? They brush Farves helmet and they call roughing the QB and toss in that it caused the fumble, giving the ball back to the Vikes.
It doesn’t matter whether it caused the fumble or not. If the passer is roughed, anything after that didn’t happen.
ETA: Speaking of things that didn’t happen - interception, Favre. :smack: I hate the guy for years and years, and when I finally take him in a fantasy draft he repays me with interest. Dust off that helmet, Garrard.
The Panthers-Bengals game is fugly.
Its raining, the ball is as slippery as an eel, Carolina sucks and Carson Palmer is making bad decisions.
The Bengals are winning BTW.
Buccaneers scoreline is misleading. Aqib Talib had one sure interception go off his fingertips right to Mike Wallace, and the refs missed the most blatant pick I’ve ever seen on another.
The rule is whether the fumble was caused by the roughing. I saw it caused by Bret being casual with the ball and dropping it.
The most obvious intentional grounding in the history on mankind just went uncalled on Flacco.
Edit: guess heap was vaguely in the area. Blah.
No, it isn’t. A penalty negates anything that occurs afterward, unless the penalty is declined.
Can’t watch the Titans-Giants game - what was the personal foul that resulted in a safety?
Was it a personal foul? It looked like a holding call in the end zone.

Chop block. The replay made it seem like a good call.

I can’t speak for the uncalled interception, but when you give up 3 TDs to Charlie Batch and over 7 ypc to Mendenhall, and Talib can’t hold onto the ball, and you have 150 yards total offense in the 3rd quarter, and the score is 31-6, it’s kinda hard to conclude you’re not getting a whupping.
So KC is looking at 3-0. I wouldn’t have bet on that. Pittsburgh is going 3-0 without Big Ben. If he’s in any kind of shape when he returns and isn’t too rusty, they look pretty damn tough.
Nice 80 yard run by Adrian. His first big homerun of the year. We needed a spark like that.
The Vikings are doing a little better with the passing game, but not great. Favre is looking frustrated and has thrown a couple of picks, but Harvin is making plays, and they’re making progress with dink and dunk passes and runs to Adrian.
Of course, it’s against the Lions…

Eh, maybe. Ben doesn’t scare me. In fact, fuck him and his bathroom expeditions.
I used to like you, Anquan Boldin.

I think it is the only play today without a flag.
