The Eagles are the dumbest team in the NFL
Thank you, local stations, for not showing the Giants game. I would have thrown stuff through my TV set.
And that ended up costing them the game.
Solid win for the Saints, clutch drive for the game winner.
Gotta admit that was a blatant cheapshot by Harper on Smith in the first half. He deserves a fine for that. Harper’s on my team and everything, but I don’t like dirty play and that was dirty.
Another big day for Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham, and decent production from Ingram for my fantasy team. Saints D was a little disappointing, with only 9 fantasy points.
This was my first chance to watch Cam Newton as a pro. He deserves the hype. The guy doesn’t look like a rookie QB.
On an unrelated note, the Vikings did not blow a big lead this week, and actually got a win. 3 TDs for Peterson.
Another close loss for the Panthers. I knew they would not stop Brees and co. on that last drive. Their defense is just not up for that. I continue to be impressed by Newton and the offense in gneral, but they still have troubles in the Red Zone. At least they are entertaining to watch.
Just win, baby. What an ending.
I know I should be heartened by the fact that my beloved Panthers have (mostly) been competitive in their games this season and haven’t gotten rolled over completely, but Cam’s talents need to start translating into wins for Rivera (who, you are correct, is still shaky on his time strategies). Otherwise, I fear a precipitous exit for Rivera.
I could be wrong, though, since Richardson hung on to Fox for years.
My Bills are 4-1 and I’m still not certain how good they really are. This win got handed to them gift-wrapped and it was still much closer than I’d like.
I’d rather not get my expectations up and start thinking playoffs just yet. I’m cautiously optimistic about our Bills.
Philly’s “Dream Team” has turned into a nightmare, once again proving that you can’t buy a winning team.
I told you that Mike Vick gives up anytime the situation gets tough, and you mocked me.
I told you. Trust me, I witnessed it MULTIPLE TIMES, and because of the Eagles no less, in Atlanta.
Falcons look fired up. I wonder why?
You know it would be appropriate if THIS was the game where we got our act back in check.
The Pack seems to be coming back to Earth.
5 games in and we’ve already got about as many wins as I was expecting for the season.
I don’t like the “going to the ground” set of rules for completions. If you have possession and two feet down at some point, then you’re a ball carrier at that point.
Man I love me some late game Andy Dalton histrionics. The kid is money when it counts. And oh yeah, AJ Green is a fucking stud (and so is Jermaine Gresham), but ya’ll knew that already.
Yeah, first quarter looked ugly, especially defense. I was really impressed on how well they turned it around.
Atlanta did a whole lot of nothing in the second half tonight. Was hoping to see them knock off the Packers. Looking ahead, Green Bay wins the tie breaker against the Saints for the head to head win, so unless the Saints finish with a better record, they’re looking at a cold weather road game in the playoffs. That usually doesn’t end well…
I was pretty impressed as well, especially since the Falcons needed (and had reason to want) the win a lot more than the Packers did. Hopefully Clifton will be OK. Luckily we don’t play another good team for three weeks.
Meanwhile, maybe Jermichael Finley’s performance today will give him occasion to reflect on the words of Don Draper in Mad Men: You’re good. Get better, and stop asking for things.
48-3
I’m happy!
