The Eagles are built the right way to handle this Bills team. But I don’t see anything that tells me they’ll change from their usual pattern of dominating early and collapsing late while giving up gigantic plays all day long. Plus, without Jason Peters and Trent Cole (two of the teams best players on a lineup full of Pro Bowlers) it looks even worse today. Fred Jackson may run for 200 yards without Cole, who is the team’s best run defender, especially now that Antonio Dixon is out for the season. I still think the Eagles will win, but I wouldn’t even bet Monopoly money on it.
Let’s just say you should not be picking Philly in any survival pools.
I’m visiting family in northern NY. And for some reason the local station is broadcasting the Colts-Chiefs game rather than the Bills-Eagles game. Buffalo and Philadelphia are both closer than Kansas City or Indianapolis. And the Bills and the Eagles are more interesting teams than the Colts or the Chiefs.
Vick has seemed to get lucky each game so far this season with regard to dropped interceptions. I have a ba feeling the Bills get a tipped INT or two. Not confident about this game at all.
I really dislike this dink-and-dunk offense of the Bills. It works for them and that’s great, but it’s just boring. Do they ever try to throw down the field?
