NFL Week 7

Wow, they really turned it around in the second half - and without me to direct them too!

While I’m sorry I missed it, I was happy with myself this morning when I woke up and was in on time for my first day.

That’s not how the rule works. It was clearly and unambiguously the correct call.

Bears go up 10-0 on the Lions with a field goal. TD was a nice pass from Cutler to Marshall on a route in the flat; it was tipped but Marshall still got it.

The players are getting chippy already and the Lions were penalized 15 yards on the last Bears drive.

Bears burned 2 timeouts before the end of the first quarter. Gosh it would be nice if they could save those things for the end of the half or something. Isn’t that what other teams do?

He won Rookie of the Year in 2011. Do you think someone wins Rookie of the Year every year? Pfff.

Lovie always kneels on it at the end of halves, I don’t think he’d know how to use them if he kept them.

It’s like when you find 10 bucks in your suitcase a couple months after you get back from a trip.

“What the heck is this and where did it come from? Guess I’ll use it as quickly as I can.”

Wasn’t a dirty hit by Suh, but that fucking piece of shit had an explicit intent to injure. Hope his Achilles explodes.

Cutler just got his bell rung by Suh but was able to come in after stepping out for one play.

So… what happened to Matthew Stafford this year?

Sandy Vagina.

Can you believe Maurice Jones-Drew just quit on his team like that? What a quitter, he’s no winner. He’s a whiner. Oh he was injured? I stand by my statement. [/sarcasm]

I was going to say he reverted to norm.

Bears 10-0 at the half. Cutler ran in for X-Rays before the end of the quarter. Both defenses are playing pretty well and the lions offense just isn’t clicking so well. Bears haven’t showed much since the FG, though they did have one blocked. Briggs forced and recovered a fumble at the end of the half and Tillman punched the ball out of Pettingzoo’s hand as well, though that ball rolled out of bounds. It’s amazing how Tillman is so good at that, his ball punching is so precise.

Love to see Schwartz’s Lions imploding once again. As much as it pains me to see the Bears succeed, I don’t mind when it’s against Schwartz.

It’s a damn shame Calvin Johnson is stuck on this team of scumbags.

Gould with a FG after a muffed punt return by the Lions. Bears leading 13-0.

Bush had a couple of nice runs but the Lions’ defense stepped up in the red zone and stopped the Bears. I think the Bears may have had a TD if Cutler threw to Forte in the flat but he went to Marshall with a quick slant and the pass was batted down by a linebacker (forgive me for not keeping up with Lions names).

Still, Bush had two rally good runs. I’m starting to really like Bush.

Hee hee. Sloppy , stupid Lions.

The Bears don’t have a defensive touchdown yet. Talk about a disappointing performance.

I don’t care who wins this game, but oh my god what an idiot! He leaps from 3 yards out ball sticking straight out the whole time. Even if he hadn’t fumbled, he still would not have scored. What the hell was he thinking?!

Yeah, my first perception of Johnson was that he was a typical selfish jerkass reciever with all the me-first baggage ala Randy Moss or Terrel Owens. upon review, he turns out to be a hard worker, a student of the game, and a fierce competitor without being a selfish jerkass about it. All the qualities I would want in a wide reciever. Plus my son likes him because he’s Megatron. Do you think he’ll stick with detroit or will move on to another team?

And a goal line stand by the Bears featuring Tillman breaking up a TD pass to Megatron and a forced fumble and recovery by Urlacher.

It’s Solder Field, he must have been trying to channel Walter.
