Another solid enough week but kinda dissapointing. Seems like Forte could’ve put up more yards in a 51 point blowout.
342 / 2 = 171 + 111 + 129 = 411. Not bad, but I’m sure dalej42 will beat that. And RNATB did as well.
Brees and Thomas didn’t do all that much for him.
You know what’d be an interesting twist on this? Picking the lowest yardage of the week instead of the highest. We’d have to make rules so you couldn’t just pick Green Bay’s third string running back or whatever - they’d have to be listed as a starter at the position on the team website for instance - but I think it could be interesting. I dunno, maybe we could try it a few weeks alongside the normal competition to see if it’s fun.
That seems kind of pointless. We’ll all just pick guys who are banged up and hope they reinjure themselves or something.

We could try rules similar to those in FO’s “Loser League”: “For each quarterback that attempts fewer than ten passes, running back that rushes fewer than eight times, or wide receiver that catches fewer than two passes, you’re penalized 15 points.” For our purposes, we might want the penalty to be something like an +80 or +100 yard penalty
Actually, probably even better is to use snap count data now that it’s available. A WR needs to play in at least, say, 80% of his team’s offensive snaps for his score to count.
Oh, the loser league rules sound interesting - it’d be a challenge to figure out who would be minimally productive but gamble on just how many attempts they’d get. That’s actually starting to sound interesting to me.
