NFL Yardage Pool Competition 2012

You probably should, on account of one week by one qb not really mattering. Worst week is dropped, and individual week wins aren’t meaningful towards the total score.

Tom Brady
Darren McFadden
AJ Green
Sorry about lack of spreadsheet so far, trying to find the time.

Week 2:
QB - Jay Cutler (grumble grumble)
RB - Adrian Peterson
WR - A.J. Green

Is it the worst overall week (all three positions considered together), or the worst week by position (individually)? If it is the former (worst combined total of all three positions dropped), then I changed my Week 2 to be as follows:

QB - Jay Cutler
RB - Chris Polk (PHI)
WR - Riley Cooper (PHI)

If it is the latter option, then I’ll leave my picks as is. Sorry for the confusion, but I didn’t know weeks were dropped.

Has Jay Cutler ever made anyone happy? No one’s ever like, “Alright! I got Cutler!” I bet even his mom is ambivalent when he’s able to make it home for Thanksgiving…

Also: Fuck me! There are Thursday night games every week this year? Why did no one inform me?
QB: [del]Carson Palmer[/del]
RB: [del]Matt Forte[/del]
WR: [del]Steve Smith[/del]
Cam Newton
Arian Foster
Roddy White

Used:
Matt Stafford
Matt Forte
DeSean Jackson

Week 2:
Cam Newton
Darren McFadden
Andre Johnson

Worst week is dropped for each position independently, so you’ll be playing your first list.

Ugh.

Skelton 149/2 =74.5
Tate 6
Johnson 119

Total of 199.5

This week.

QB Andy Dalton
RB Michael Turner
WR Larry Fitzgerald.

253/2 + 22 + 21 = 169.5

Yup, that’s much more like what I’m used to. Fuck me.

Nevermind the fact that I lost my shirt foolishly betting on the Skins, Cowpokes and Jets in Vegas today. Haven’t looked yet, but I’m pretty sure my bench outscored my starters in pretty much every fantasy league I’m in. Also lost my big money fantasy Survivor league because of the Gostkowski and the Pats. All in all, one of the worse football weeks of my life, and yes I’m including the Bears game.

284/2 + 60 + 104 = 306

Week 2 Picks

QB: Aaron Rodgers = 219/2 = 109.5
RB: Darren McFadden = 22
WR: Victor Cruz = 179

Total: 310.5

Dammit, I misspelled Victor Cruz.

325 / 2 = 162.5 + 123 + 58 = 343.5.

Jesus Christ.

QB: 126/2 = 63
RB: 60
WR: 21

It is to weep. Dez Bryant will be breaking records tonight for sure.

Total for the week is 144. Gross.

Well if it makes you feel better, Dez Bryant played yesterday, and had 17 yards. So you’re 4 to the good.

Oh, good. I assumed since I saw none of the Cowboys scores, and I watched the Red Zone channel pretty much all day yesterday, that they’d be playing tonight. Turns out it was just that they didn’t score.

Week One Total: 274.5

Week Two:
Jay Cutler 126/2= 63
Adrian Peterson= 60
A.J. Green=58
Total: 181

Running total: 455.5

Week 3:
[del]Eli Manning, Philip Rivers[/del] Drew Brees
[del]Kevin Smith, Adrian Peterson[/del] Michael Bush
[del]Andre Johnson, Steve Smith I[/del] Marques Colston

Can I include the yards that Turner picked up driving 97 mph during his dui arrest last night?

Aaron Rodgers=109.5
Arian Foster=110
Torrey Smith=51

Total=270.5
Running Total= 602

Week 3:

Eli Manning
Adrian Peterson
Andre Johnson

Week 3:
QB - Robert Griffin III
RB - Pierre Thomas
WR - Miles Austin

I think Wilson is in the lead after two weeks.
