I’m too lazy to do this every week
Can I just use the QB, RB and WR playing against Detroit?
Oops, that can’t work since some teams are fortunate enough to play detroit twice.
I might consider playing. It might give me a reason to start following NFL football again.

I’m in.
Week 1:
QB Drew Brees
RB Stephen Jackson
WR Anquan Boldin
Burning a big gun early…
OK, I guess I’ll try:
QB - Tom Brady
RB - Reggie Bush
WR - Terrell Owen
The only thing we are playing for is pride, correct?
If you live in Florida, RNATB will bake you cookies. Otherwise yes, just for pride/fun.
If you live in Vegas, Beef will buy you a hooker?
Maybe of the cheap craigslist variety.
And they’d have to be willing to bake cookies.

SenorBeef , do you want us to retrieve numbers or get totals or anything? Just trying to make sure one person (you) doesn’t have to do too much.
If it’ll help;
QB - J. Flacco: 307
WR - M. Colston: 30
RB - T. Jones: 107
1st week total - lieu: 444

What I imagine would help is if everyone listed the players they’ve already used each week. It wouldn’t be difficult, just quote your previous entry and add the appropriate three names every time.
I might have misunderstood. Do we count combined yardage or just their “position” yardage? (ie., passing yards only for QBs, rushing only for RBs, receiving only for WRs, etc.)
Hasselbeck: 247 passing, 3 rushing = 250 total
Santonio Holmes: 131 receiving
Benson: 76 rushing, 32 receiving = 108 total
Total: 489 (if we’re counting non-positional yardage), 454 if we aren’t.

It doesn’t hurt if you do, but it’s fine if you don’t want to.
This may not be a bad idea. I’m still trying to figure out a good way to record/display this data.

I mentioned above that we’d be doing it so that QBs only got passing yards, RBs only got rushing yards, and WRs only got receiving yards. It keeps it simpler and feels a little more pure somehow. So in your case your numbers would be 247/131/76.
Weirdly, the NFL.com scoreboard has corrected Hasselbeck’s stats to 279 passing yards, not 247… so I actually have 486 .

(Yes, all three have 4:00 PM or later starts.)
288 passing + 71 receiving = 359 (so far)
358 passing + 67 rushing + 19 receiving = 444 (tying lieu exactly!)
247 passing + 107 rushing + 30 receiving = 384
will the week 1 results be posted somewhere, or did I already miss it?
this weeks trifecta would have been: T. Brady (378) - A. Peterson (180) - R. Wayne (160) for a total of 718 yds.
At least I picked Brady. And I picked the wrong Saints Running Back (Bush instead of Bell)
Brady 378
Bush 14
Owen 46
total = 438
288 passing + 55 rushing + 71 receiving = 414
Reggie Wayne actually had 162 yards, so the maximum score this week was 720. As far as I can tell, the big winner this week was… ME!
486 yards.
