That murder took place just down the road from my office. Hernandez is a prick of the highest order and I am embarrassed I ever rooted for him.
Is there a place in the Hall of Fame for the NFL’s first serial killer?
Since it’s been asked why Tebow was at a bar, perhaps it’s worth noting that The Swamp is more of a restaurant that serves alcohol then strictly a bar. It’s actually an old house, with a fence enclosing a front yard, where some of the tables are set up. On busy nights, the front yard is standing room only. As a student, I only ate there once (on an orientation trip with my dad), but it’s not scandalous that a person would be there even if they weren’t old enough to drink.
Find it impossible to believe Tebow wouldn’t be served if he asked.
Now we know why he killed those two guys in Boston:
"The night de Abreu and Furtado were killed, Haggan said Hernandez and a friend drove from Connecticut to a Boston nightclub called Cure. They were standing at the edge of the dance floor when de Abreu accidentally bumped into Hernandez, smiled at him and did not apologize, according to prosecutors. Haggan said de Abreu and his friends did not appear to recognize Hernandez and had no idea he was upset.
Hernandez became increasingly agitated and told his friend that de Abreu had deliberately bumped into him and ‘‘was trying him,’’ Haggan said…Hernandez then told his friend he believed he was ‘‘being targeted and being disrespected’’"
It would seem it would be awfully easy to accidentally bump into someone into a nightclub–so why do people do such dangerous things?
Golly, I wonder if roid-rage might have been involved? Naaaahhhh … couldn’t be.
