Didn’t anybody learn anything from Mr. Stabby? He gave them the template for getting away with murder. Being a criminal is Darwinian, only the dumb ones get caught. Hernandez is dumber than a bag of hammers.

Was he known to be a stupid thug before this incident? It just seems odd that someone who is apparently this dumb and homicidal could have floated under the radar. Also, didn’t he shoot a guy in the face a while ago?

He failed a drug test, or maybe more than one, in college. Until the news about these two shootings broke, I think that was all the trouble anybody knew about.

This is at least as bad as the Ray Lewis case, and probably a lot worse. Hernandez is fully lawyered up, and even before that he was refusing to cooperate - also uncharacteristic for an innocent man, unless he was covering for friends, which still makes him an accomplice.

What I love about this post is the multitude of other threads where everyone agrees that whether innocent or guilty, if the police want to talk to you, you always

1. Ask if you’re free to go and if not . . .
2. Remain silent and after Salinas you explicitly tell the police that you are invoking your 5th Amendment right.
3. Ask for (or retain) an attorney.

So when someone does exactly what the Doper lawyers say to do you believe that it is an indicator of guilt. Remind me to have my attorney dismiss you from my jury.

I grew up in an adjacent town, and I just remembered that for many years my mother worked in an industrial park in North Attleborough… ! I’ll have to find out if it’s the same place. NA is not a huge town.

I lived right down the street from the development where Hernandez lived while they were actually building it. I never understood who would move into such expensive houses when they bordered not only an industrial park, but also the capped landfill, high tension transmission wires and a substation, as well as the town Electric Department.

There is only one industrial park in North Attleboro, and off the top of my head I can’t think of one in Attleboro.

I believe the Lloyd’s body was found in the gravel section next to JM Engineering (if you look on google maps for reference) which is the Landry Ave end near the high school.

First, remind yourself that you’re in the court of public opinion here, not a court of law. Principles of procedure and evidence are quite a bit different.

Multiple drug tests. And his character and associates were apparently enough of a concern to get at least one team to remove him from their draft board. Still, he hasn’t failed any NFL test in the last two years and I don’t think he had any legal problems during that time either.

Thank you for the perspective - I’ll admit I live nowhere near there, and have a hard time understanding what exactly is meant by the term “industrial park” in the first place.

From using the Google Map link that ptr2void posted, is the probable location about an “inch” E/SE of there (the lot off of Landry Avenue, where the yellow diesels are all parked)?

No, that is where they store the town school buses.

If you click on the link ptr2void posted, it is clearing right under the words Landry Ave all the way to the right. (To the right of Homeward Ln) . If you drag the map up, it is just above Metfab Engineering
