There were some classic games shown on the regional sports networks, whatever the one in Dallas was showed the Stars Stanley Cup run during the season long lockout.
The regional networks probably will show reruns, they might need permission for that but I don’t see why teams would not allow it . ESPN just lost a large chunk of their events. They might show reruns too

Coronavirus ended the season in 2020*.

Good joke, but to get serious, it would be genuinely amazing if they didn’t at least come back and fire up the playoffs. The loss of revenue would be disastrous.
Unless COVID-19 is an absolute firestorm of death that lasts way longer than anticipated, they’re finishing the season, and it won’t be.
They’ll be playing into July this year.
In fact last night I saw one of the Hawks Stanley cup playoff games on one of the regional networks here in Chicago, fairly late at night.
It may be had been scheduled to air previously, it’s not uncommon for the regional networks to air stuff like that although it’s usually in the off season
It’s not the same, but I must admit, seeing some of the old games are kind of neat. They’re showing them on the NHL Network too, and it’s weird to see Messier with hair!
