I was torn about the Winnipeg-Washington game yesterday.
As a Sens fan, Winnipeg losing helps Ottawa; Ottawa now can make the playoffs with just two points in three games, and because Washington cannot finish anywhere other than third, their game against Ottawa today is meaningless to them.
But the IDEAL thing to happen would have been for Winnipeg to beat Washington, and then Ottawa to beat Washington, thus making it likely both Canadian teams make the playoffs, which would be awesome. But I, with sadness, was forced to admit Winnipeg losing was good for my Sens. I want Jets fan to get some glory, but it is what it is.

The three nominees for the Jack Adams Trophy should be Paul Maclean, Paul Maclean, and Paul Maclean. How he got this team into the playoffs is just a mystery to me. It’s a grab bag of kids, castoffs and old guys, and here they are. Amazing.
So this is what the Penguins look like with most people healthy… The rest of the East just crapped themselves. Neal comes back from his concussion with a hat trick and an assist, and the Pens put on a clinic in an 8-3 drubbing. Sid will likely be ready for the start of the playoffs. They need to keep it going!
Ok, funniest thing from tonight: I’m watching the Pens players give their game jerseys to fans, a tradition on the last game, and this lady who’s about 55-60 is getting Brandon Sutter’s sweater, and she says, very clearly picked up on the mics, “how did you like kicking your old team’s ass?” 
I was annoyed because the local channel delayed the start of the game with the Pirates game. Who gives a shit about the Pirates anymore? They suck.
They also skipped the tribute to Jordan Staal. I hope that’ll be online.
