Playoffs over, here’s a thread to discuss offseason and probably the draft.
Jonathan Toews signs with Winnipeg. Was one of my favorite players with the Blackhawks, but not sure he’s really got anything left in the tank. I know Landeskog came back after a long layoff but he never just went away out of the league for 3 years
Dallas Stars bring back Glen Gulutzan.
I did not foresee that being the path they would take. I honestly don’t remember him when he was our coach the first time, that was a couple of years where I wasn’t paying attention to the Stars. But it does seem strange to re-hire the guy who wasn’t able to get us to the playoffs.
But then again, we were definitely in a rebuilding period at that time. Even Hitchcock had a hard time making a difference with what was largely the same team a few years later.Plus, I wouldn’t have fired DeBoer, so whadda I know?
On the other hand, we got Radek Faksa back. I thought he was pretty great earlier, so I’m happy about that.

Marc-Andre Fleury signed at least for the preseason. I assume it’s just to drum up some interest for the upcoming season. The aging Penguins don’t need to be getting older.
