This won’t surprise anyone, but I’m not against boarding the refs.
Fleury has looked good tonight, but the Wings are getting closed out of the middle of the ice. They also have to do a better job of getting the defensemen for pittsburgh and Fleury moving.
I’m not crazy about seeing Crosby hurt. I don’t like him, but you don’t want to see anyone go down like that in a game seven. It’ll be interesting to see if he comes back in the third. Looked like his knee got absolutely crushed between Franzen and the boards. I know players play with injuries in games like this, but it’s real hard to skate without a functioning knee.
We’ll see what happens in the third. Detroit has to come out strong and pressure throughout, not just in fits and starts. They need to support better in the middle.
