So say we all!
Brodeur: tabarnak
Damn good hockey being played; great series!
It’s really a shame that Bob Miller can’t call the game. One of the all-time great play-by-play guys in the league, hall of famer, Los Angeles mainstay and icon, sitting on the sidelines, just seems wrong. Mike Emrick is ok, but for me Miller personifies hockey announcing.
Well, well, well – look at this: Teabag Thomas is taking a year off
I wonder what brought this on. I don’t buy his explanation for a minute. :dubious:
With Brodouche slowly becoming the 4x6 size, he is WAY too lethargic. The Devil’s defense helps him out so much. Whenever it’s a one on none, it’s a goal for the Kings.
The Kings are just showing up and playing great hockey every game this post season. This team is just playing in beautiful hockey harmony! Only drawback I see is the stagnant power play. 8 percent? Really? But their shorthanded goals/chances are really there, so I guess that makes up for it.
KINGS IN 5!
Five bucks says he’s doing it so he constantly post his Tea Party trash to Facebook during the election without the Bruins bitching at him.
What’s crazy is he still gets paid.
Vokoun to the Penguins.
Am I understanding the suspension thing right - the Bruins can suspend him, therefore not have to pay him, but they still have a cap hit of $5M? I’d love for Teabag to not make a cent off of this decision. If it hurts the team…so be it
Guess that explains why he’s so terrible in shootouts.
I’m gonna miss Brent Johnson. Love that guy. (Anyone else cry when their favorite players leave?)
Aha! There’s the LA Power Play. They found it in LA, under a 2-0 lead in the third.
:):):):(:):p:p:p:p;););):(;):D:D:D
Penalty Kill: 100%
Power Play: 100%
Save %: 100%
Domination: 100%
WE WANT THE CUP!
WE WANT THE CUP!
WE WANT THE CUP!
We really, really do.
I need to figure out some way to not get stuck missing half of the game on Wednesday because of my work schedule.
There is NO chance the Kings lose this! Hopefully they don’t lose a game Wednesday.
Like to see them win it at home.
when they lose, it will be you and your jinx that we blame.
Well, the way the unluckiest team during the regular system had everything fall into place at exactly the right time to steamroll their way to victory, they deserve to win… but I’m having a hard time coming up with a group of guys I’d less like to see hoist the Cup than all of the ex-Flyers.
Actually, you should celebrate the notion that the current Flyers organization will be watching (from their homes, golf courses, bars, etc.) the ex-players who they gave up on, who were very capable of bringing the cup to Philadelphia, lifting the Cup somewhere else.
They didn’t give up on them, they got an extremely nice haul in return for them that will have them competitive for years to come (the pick from Columbus in which they picked Couturier was almost worth it on its own).
While it does bring me some small amount of pleasure to know that Flyers fans have to watch players that led them to the Finals just a few short years ago that their GM traded away win while their team golfs, it’s overridden by the fact that though they took the dirtbags out of Philly they couldn’t take the Philly out of the dirtbags and one of the dirtiest pieces of shit in hockey in Mike Richards will hoist the Cup and have his filthy name engraved upon it. And that Jeff Carter whined and pouted his way out of Columbus like a baby until he could be reunited with his BFF, and he and his flying elbows will also.
My hatred of Gagne has cooled over the years, to the point that I don’t even remember why I hated him to begin with, but I still don’t like him.
Cry? No. But I’ll be sad when Alfie retires, be that this summer or next. And I was pretty damn disappointed when the Sens unloaded Jarkko Ruutu, though that was moreso because I bought his jersey the season before. I’m hoping my Matt Carkner jersey doesn’t get relegated to a similar fate this July…
