It is rare enough in the regular season. I don’t remember 3 goals on a major in the playoffs at all.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that NJ isn’t going to score three goals on Quick in the last period.

What a day it’s been…I had to bury my Father In Law today (a WWII vet and LA Kings fan) and then watch the Kings drop the hammer on Jersey tonight. Queue up Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”. I was able to take him to a couple of Kings games last year when he was more able to, and all three games I took him to, the Kings won.

For Marcel Dionne and Rogie Vachon and Dave Taylor and to all the other former Kings who played their hearts out for us and never got to raise the Cup.
As a long-suffering Caps fan… how did it feel LA?
From my living room it looked like it felt great. The crowd watching as they walked the Cup around the red carpet was just awesome. Congrats to the Kings.
