I promised, in this thread, to report my excitement in the performance of my new washer heater. Mangeorge keeps a promise:

If you read the thread I linked in the OP, there’s some opinion there.
Twenty-some years ago, I made heated washer fluid for almost free. For the price of a couple yards of rubber hose and some duct tape, I wrapped the WW hose around the heater core return hose.
Never had any problems with it in Chicago winters.
