A woman I met this weekend claims that it was Goethe that said “That which does not kill us makes us stronger”, and not Nietszche.
I’ve always thought the contrary was the case. I’ve tried researching this claim on the internet and cannot find anything to back this woman’s claim.
Can anyone out there verify her statement (links would be appreciated)?
