Night Visions: Thumbs Up or Down? (if you taped it, possible spoilers)

Just wanted to get some Dopehead opinions on the new Twilight Zone rehash on Fox. I rather enjoy it . . .but I’m afraid to praise it too much because I have this feeling a lot of the stories were lifted off old Night Gallery, Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Road Dahl’s Tales of the Unexpected, etc

Henry Rollins does his best Rod Serling impression, and it is pretty bizarre seing him add his flip comments at the beginning and end of each segment.

My favorite one is “Dead Air” with Lou Diamond Phillips as the shock jock deejay. “The Bokor” with the zombies was pretty cool too. I also like the one with Bill Pullman called “A View Through the Window” last night but boy did Fox piss me off . . .

In promos they actually SHOWED THE SWEET LOOKING FARM WOMAN TURNING INTO A MONSTER!!! That ruined the whole ending!!! Idiots.

I also find some of the episodes a little predictable. Last night, you KNEW the geeky guy in “Quiet Please” was the serial killer, though I might be an exception; and right away I knew Gil Bellows grew up in that house and was the little boy watching his mom get shot in “Renovations”.
So whats the verdict? Good new show . . . .or should Henry Rollins choke out the producers?

Thumbs up. Now I’m crushed though, you actually saw an episode last night? Fox aired a baseball game until 11 here last night. I wanted to see the one with Bill Pullman! Of the two episodes I saw last week though, I liked the radio dj one best. The last one was ok, but I knew who the baby in the beginning was almost as soon as it started.

I’m afraid I have to give this show a big THUMBS DOWN. Its terrible. Everything is predictable and the stories don’t seem to make much sense. And that Rollins guy is weird too.
