Can night sweats and pimples all over the body be related to dope smoking in any way?
I’ve known a lot of world-class dope smokers and I’ve never heard of this. Could it be some other component – maybe your dope was treated with something? Also, don’t rule out measles, chicken pox, an allergy…stuff like that. It almost sounds as if you’re sick from a virus. Good luck!
My SO has been having night sweats and pimply body for about 4 months now - so it is definitely not measles or chicken pox.
I had heard that night sweats occur when coming off dope. The dope here is quite variable but very strong (apparently) when compared with other countries.
He was pretty sure he hasn’t had any lately that was mixed with other stuff.
Well, I used to be a pretty heavy doper in my younger days (shhh…don’t tell my kids!) and I never ran into night sweats or excessive pimple-age, either during or after. I have never heard of that reaction being associated with consumption of marijuana, in any dosage.
Well, IAMAD, but night sweats can be symptomatic of many other things that have nothing to do with dope smoking, but can be serious - your SO should probably see a physician for a check up. Ditto for the pimples.

Yes - he has seen a doctor and has had many tests but they are not showing anything, hence my OP.
He has been a user for many years, a heavy user at times, currently trying to quit.
I’ve never heard of a connection either. But if he is sick, smoking weed sure won’t help him get over it any sooner.
Seems to me that if you’re sweating all night and laying in your own sweat, you’re gonna get some pimples.
Here is a long shot, but maybe the night sweats are related to problems with their blood sugar levels. You may want to look at their diet.
He’s had his blood sugar levels tested and they are fine. I’m thinking it must have something to do with toxin levels in the body - a combination of dope and tabacco. He seems to have bouts of night sweats - the current one has lasted for 2 weeks.
He is now having a second lot of tests. He has a mostly healthy diet and is very fit.
He reckons it has something to do with what he is dreaming about, he might be on to something as he usually has bad dreams.

Could be a simple allergy. I have never heard of anyone exhibiting these symptoms from smokin, though.
Oh…forgot…did your friend inhale the weed, or ingest it? If it is ingested, the symptoms can be more pronounced. Not serious though, I shuldn’t think.
