Nikita

It’s just started here in the U.K. The first episode wasn’t too bad. The twist of the new girl being a plant is okay, but I really couldn’t see someone like her being allowed such unrestricted computer access. It also lacked the necessary bleakness of the original.

It conflicts with something else that I record, and so I no longer get to see it.

Last episode was good and I’m a bit intrigued by the upcoming previews.

With the new injured guy, it might turn even more into a team-based show, which I think would be better in the long run. Watching one person’s somewhat solo struggles week in and week out can get boring. With more people to work with, Nikita’s character will have more of a chance to grow.

I, too, went into this doubtful of any longterm commitment. However, I find that I am really enjoying the characters. The writing and acting are really above average for TV and, of course, the eye candy ain’t bad either.

Well, now we know what happens with Ted’s daughter (in How I Met Your Mother, when Bob Saget does the older Ted’s voiceovers to his kids, Lyndsy Fonseca is the daughter).

What was with that random Stan Lee cameo in the most recent ep? I mean, I expect him to show up in movies and shows about Marvel characters he created, but Nikita? Wha?

Was a bit random, but I guess that happens when you hang out at comic cons.

The last 4 episodes have been really good, and this Thursday’s episode looks like it’s going to be the best one so far:
