I was playing Nintendo Pinball (1983) this morning, and both times I reached over 100,000, the pinball flippers became invisible although they still worked. Is it supposed to do that or is it a glitch? It is kind of challenge to play pinball without being able to see the flippers. Also, precisely when do the hatching chicks at the bottom of the screen give you side exit bumpers?
So is that a bug or a feature?
Without anyone to analyze the code, I’d guess bug, or else it they wouldn’t become visible again. Seeing as the screen flashes, I’d guess that the flippers becomes invisible for that, and the bit that flips them back on gets flipped. Thus, when it flashes again, the bit gets flipped back to normal
